Alex Hamilton, our staff coach from England, has a very strong bowling and business background.  On the lanes, he has claimed numerous British Junior Titles.  He also established Team Twyford (later to be renamed Team Power Play) in 1999 and now is considered one of the best teams in the UK.  Alex rolled a 300 game in the 2001 Irish Open and shot yet another perfect game to win the trials to qualify for the Under 24 2001 Team England.  After making the team, he represented England at the World Youth Championships in the Dominican Republic in 2001.

On the business side of the game, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge to share.  He established the first of many successful pro shops in Nuneaton, England in 2001.  He served as a bowling center General Manager in Birmingham for two years.  Alex has extensive experience promoting and running top English tournaments.  These tournaments include Team England ranking events as well as the English Open, which is the final stop on the European Bowling Tour (EBT). 

Alex is also very successful in organizing and running various coaching clinics and seminars, bringing in some of the world’s best coaches and bowlers.  As a coach, he has been a BTBA Phase One Instructor since 2002 and a USBC Bronze Level Coach since 2009.
