Meet Andy Parker

Alex HamiltonAndy Parker is a USBC Silver Level Coach and Dick Ritger Level 1 Instructor.  He has had extensive coaching experience at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels, and with much success.  At the college level, he led Morehead State University from 1989-1990 and Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio) from 1990-1991 and 1993-1994.  At the high school level, Andy coached West Carrollton High School from 1999-2001 and powerhouse Fairmont High School from 2003-2008.  He has served as a youth coach since 2003 and was one of the coaches for the USA team in the Friendship Games in Australia in 2004. 

Because of his coaching service and success, Andy has earned several distinguished awards including the State of Ohio Youth Coach of the Year in 2008, the GWOC Boys Coach of the Year in 2007, and has been named a Bowler’s Journal Top 100 Coach in 2005, 2006, and 2007. 

With the bowling ball in his hand, he has had his share of accomplishments, too.  He boasts 17 300 games, 14 299 games, 4 800 series, and a high average of 232.  He holds the record in team series (two women, one man) with 2319.  He is also the owner of several Dayton City Titles. 

In college, he represented Morehead State University in the Collegiate National Championships in 1987 and 1988.  During his four years on the team, his squad won several prestigious events and SIBC Conference Championships.  He was also SIBC Bowler of the Year for 1986-1987.  Andy graduated from Morehead with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters in Communication.
